TLC star Shauna Rae has pituitary dwarfism (thereal_shaunarae99/Instagram)
The reason behind Shauna Rae’s halted growth stems from her childhood diagnosis of brain cancer.
Although she triumphed over the illness, the cancer and its treatments harmed her pituitary gland, which influences growth.
At 26 years old, she is officially diagnosed with pituitary dwarfism.
Since her show premiered three years ago, Shauna Rae has stayed in the spotlight and recently appeared on The Unplanned Podcast, hosted by Abby and Matt Howard.
During the interview, Shauna Rae was questioned about her current relationship and the reason for not disclosing her boyfriend’s identity.
“Neither of us cares about his face being public,” she stated confidently.
“I’m more concerned because he has a great job. I don’t want any negative impacts on his workplace. They know who I am, and they appreciate me.”
Shauna Rae elaborated, “Considering all that social media represents and what I know my boyfriend isn’t, I wish to avoid any labels on him, especially if he isn’t my lifelong partner.”
“As of now, unless we’re marrying or I’m planning a future with him, his face won’t be revealed.”
