Dr Evan Goldstein has detailed a common mistake people are making in the bathroom
A surgeon has clarified the major error people often make after visiting the bathroom, one that might lead to some excruciating health problems.
Going for a number two and then using toilet paper just goes hand in hand, doesn doesn’t it? I ask, however, is this form of wiping more damage than good?
Well, leading proctologist Dr. Evan Goldstein says this is precisely what we are doing, and he has recommended against “traditional wiping”.
Moreover, Dr. Goldstein is much more worried about people who use wet wipes to be sure their back is clean.

On the Am I Doing It Wrong? podcast from HuffPost, the specialist offered his opinion and issued a caution to anyone who wipes a particular way.
Using toilet paper can be a recipe for disaster, Dr Goldstein said, since skin around the anus is especially sensitive.
Many of you may think you have been okay all this time using toilet paper, but according to the doctor, wiping like this can cause tears, irritation, even longterm injury in the worst cases.
And Dr. Goldstein is seeing such symptoms more often as wet wipes are brought into the restroom.
