The findings come as a result of a recent study
Researchers assert that they have uncovered significant evidence suggesting that the ‘soul’ may depart from the body upon death.
A recent investigation examined the brain activity of patients who were clinically dead, and Dr. Stuart Hameroff, an anaesthesiologist and professor at the University of Arizona, has shared his insights about the findings.
In this study, tiny sensors were attached to the brains of seven critically ill patients with only minutes left to live.
These advanced devices monitored each patient’s blood pressure and heart rate until they ultimately fell to zero and the patients passed away.
Remarkably, the results showed an electroencephalogram (EEG) indicating an unusual surge of energy that appeared to happen after death.

Hameroff mentioned to Project Unity: “They observed everything fading away, and then [psh] there was this activity despite the lack of blood pressure and heart rate.
“This could signify the near-death experience, or perhaps the soul leaving the body.”
