People are suggesting the IRS is the real winner after hearing how much was taken from the prize pot
Whether you follow MrBeast or not, we all know by now of Beast Games, the most expensive game show in history.
With 362 million followers on YouTube, mostly obtained from hosting his own tournaments that had him offering out eyewatering quantities of money and amazing prizes like an island in The Bahamas, MrBeast—born Jimmy Donaldson—is really named.
On his own, he has donated tens of millions of dollar, but for Beast Games he joined Amazon Prime to honor the winner of the show with $10 million… though there is a catch.

First, let’s get into what the game show is and what it consists of.
Squid Game, a Netflix series, inspires the games to set complicated obstacles and assignments for contestants.
There were 1,000 participants in grueling physical and mental tests hoping to win the top prize money of $10,000,000, hence making it the most valuable cash award in reality television history since it airs on Amazon Prime in December.
Spoiler alert: The last six contestants were then reduced down to only Jeffrey Randall Allen and Twana Barnett in the final.

Player 831 in the game, Allen had to speculate which of the 10 briefcases before him containing a $10 million cheque hidden by Barnett
He was right on his guessing and finally won the large cash award.
How much the winning contestant took home
Soon after he realized he won the $10 million, he realized that the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), which collects and enforces US federal tax legislation, in fact had a significant share of it.
Actually, the taxman has taken home just under half of it.
One account on Twitter said, “The winner of MrBeast’s $10,000,000 ‘Beast Games’ prize will only receive $5.03 million after taxes.
The tweet invited strong feedback from MrBeast; he responded “Only” along with a crying face emoji, implying that Allen was not as poor-off as the tweet suggested.

Fans’ reaction to the cash prize
Thousands of fans rushed to the comments, with one comment reading: “Yeah, seulement. You have ten million dollars; they get only half. So it’s just relative to the declared amount. this deals with how terrible taxes are, not you.
A second typed :”Even if there’s 5 million left, that’s still a HEFTY slice off the top.”
With a third writing: “Same time. a tax of 50% is rather bonkers. I can at most see one-third. And the reality that we are set to view 1/3 tax as a bargain indicates how far taxes have gone… “
Meanwhile, fans proposed the actual winner was the IRS.
One joked: “Amazing. So technically IRS is also competing silently.”
Another added, “Congrats to the IRS for winning Beast Games.
