The Dallas Stars have acquired forwards Tyler Seegers, Matt Janssen and Jason Demericks, as well as defenseman Kyle Connor.

The deals are subject to NHL compliance, according to TSN’s Bob McKenzie.

Seegers and Janssens are two players who could be in line for a roster spot, as both are entering the final year of their contracts and should be in the Stars’ plans going forward.

Jason Demers is expected to be a key piece for the Stars, as he has scored more than 20 goals and 25 assists for 37 points in his four seasons with Dallas.

Demers is the younger brother of Dallas Stars center Jamie Demers.

Jamie Demers was named the 2015-16 NHL Rookie of the Year.

The 22-year-old scored eight goals and 21 assists in 43 games for the Dallas Stars.

Dallas also acquired defenseman Kyle Weideman from the Pittsburgh Penguins in exchange for a third-round pick in 2017.

The Stars also acquired forward Mattias Jansson, defenseman Joonas Donskoi and defenseman Cody Eakin in the deal.

The club also re-signed forward Shawn Horcoff and defenseman Alex Goligoski to contracts through the 2019-20 season.
