The video-streaming site Coldplay has announced it has removed the movie download links from its site, after a group of fans complained they could not access them on their phones or tablets.
The move came after users complained that the links were no longer working on their devices, with many saying they could no longer access the movies without a password.
The site, which has nearly 20 million subscribers, removed the links after users began to report them as not working.
Users in the United States and Canada had reported the link not working, with some people reporting a failure to connect to the site.
Users also said they were unable to access a number of the movie titles available in the streaming site’s library, including The Hunger Games: Catching Fire and The Great Gatsby.
“The coldplay team is taking this issue very seriously and are working with their content partners to address the issue,” the company said in a statement.
“If you continue to have issues connecting to the coldplay app or movie download page, please contact support.
